Great staff, atmosphere and local feel. The hot food line is amazing as well as the food from their kitchen. Great selection, compact well laid out store and a wonderful operations team makes this my favorite grocery store on the planet

Wonderful shopping experience. The customer service was excellent! Felt like shopping in a small town grocery. Reggie recommended a nice king cake. The gentleman working the meat section helped us pick out boudin & other sausages. With their coffee and seasoning selection we’ll be taking the flavor of New Orleans home. Our checker was very kind as well. Only regret was coming with a full belly because their deli looked and smelled delicious!

This place has it all, including lower-priced eggs! (Paid $2.60/doz for brown). Nacho and Taco Bar, Olive Bar, Salad Bar, and tons of ready-made foods like Mac n Cheese, Red Beans and Rice, and even pizza by the slice. Overall prices are a little higher than most thanks to the nice neighborhood I guess. Still, plenty of deals if you look. (Paid 89 cents a pound for chicken thighs for example!). Everything is clean and well-stacked and never met a nicer group of employees..

Living not too far from here, I come to LVG several times per week. Although the staff are not always the most pleasant to you, it’s still one of those wonderful kinds of places you hope never goes away. Has everything you need, from a hot meal to cleaning supplies to everyday grocery items. They’ve upgraded to include an inviting seating area recently. Feels like a community hub, and I appreciate that it’s here.

Convenient small to mid size grocery in Lakeview perfect for those of us who don’t love the mega groceries and for those who just want to pick up a few things. Well stocked deli, prepared foods and boars head products which are my fav. More than adequate selection of most everything you might need well displayed. It can be a tiny bit crowded in the middle of the isles but not so as to hinder your shopping. Larger than expected wine/alcohol section, so they have their priorities in the right order!! Very friendly staff who seem to be happy and like what they do. That is always refreshing to find. Great little find in the middle of a busy area of Lakeview.

Had a chance to meet Douglas in the Deli department and I must say he was very kind and courteous… His energy was amazing and he was very respectful… Ill make it my business to visit you guys establishment every chance I get…

The quintessential local grocery store with excellent produce, choices of food and wine and spirits. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. This grocery store is always clean and well stocked! I highly recommend this grocery store even though it’s a little pricey!

Great hot bar, friendly staff. Deli has great meats, and kind people working the slicer. Prepackaged food is great. Selection is good for the size of the location. Great place to ship or grab some cooked food.
